Mike Carremans

Born in Belgium, 1980.
Mike Carremans' painting engages with falsified reproduction, disruptution and deviation in series' of historical and media images which he reconstitutes around affiliations with his own life and persona. He visualises his experience as a colorblind painter, while questioning the cultural status of visuality.
