Es gibt zwei Dinge: Das globale Finanzwesen, das komplett von konzeptuellen Bewegungen bestimmt ist. Und Geoff Berner, der schrieb «in der Arabischen Welt sagt man, dass ein Dichter vom Erlös seiner Dichtkunst tatsächlich zu Wohlstand gelangen könne (!)»
Diese Ausstellung steht irgendwo dazwischen.

Florence Jung ist eine Künstlerin, die zur ungenierten Kunsthändlerin geworden ist. Sie ist derzeit auch an der Manifesta 11 in Zürich vertreten und zeigt eine Einzelausstellung im Kunstraum Despacio in Costa Rica. Sie gewann das Aeschlimann Corti Stipendium (2014), einen Werkbeitrag der Stadt Zürich und den Performance Preis Schweiz (2013).

There are two things : Global finance, which is completely based on conceptual moves. And Geoff Berner, who wrote «in the Arab world, it is said that a poet could actually become wealthy from the proceeds of his poetry (!)». This exhibition stands somewhere in the middle.

Florence Jung is an artist turned into an uninhibited art dealer. She is currently also showing at Manifesta in Zurich and featured in a solo show at Despacio in Costa Rica. She was awarded the Aeschlimann Corti-Stipendium (2014), the Werkbeiträge der Stadt Zürich and the Swiss Performance Award (2013).
